Buffalo Sabres
The Buffalo Sabres are a National Hockey League team located in Buffalo, New York. The team was founded in 1970 when the league expanded to 14 teams, also adding the Vancouver Canucks. The Sabers played their home games at the Buffalo Memorial Auditorium until 1996 when the team moved to KeyBank Center.
The Sabres are members of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference where they have won 6 division titles and 3 conference championships, most recently in the 1998-99 season, although they have not won the Stanley Cup.
