New York Rangers
The New York Rangers are a National Hockey League team located in the borough of Manhattan in New York City, New York. The franchise was founded in 1926 and is one of the Original Six franchises of the modern NHL. The Rangers are members of the Metropolitan Division in the Eastern Conference and have been playing their home games at the legendary Madison Square Garden since 1968.
The New York Rangers have won four Stanley Cups, most of which coming before World War II. After their championship in the 1939-40 season, the Rangers would not win another Cup until the 1993-94 season, and have not won another since then.
