Arizona Diamondbacks

The Arizona Diamondbacks are a Major League Baseball franchise located in Phoenix, Arizona. The franchise was established as an expansion team in 1998 as a member of the National League West division. The Diamondbacks play their home games at Chase Field, orginally known as Bank One Ballpark.

Although most expansion teams struggle in their early years, the Diamondbacks have been fairly successful. Arizona has won five NL West division championships in their first 15 seasons. They have also become the fastest franchise to win a World Series by winning the 2001 title in just their fourth season in existance.
