Cincinnati Reds
The Cincinnati Reds are a Major League Baseball franchise located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The franchise was established in 1881 as the Cincinnati Red Stockings before becoming the Reds in 1890. The Reds are members of the National League Central division, playing at Great American Ballpark since 2003 after moving from Riverfront Stadium.
The Reds have won nine National League pennants and five World Series titles. Much of their success came during the early to mid 1970s when the team, nicknamed “The Big Red Machine,” won four of their pennants and two World Series championships. Their most recent pennant and World Series championship came in 1990.
