Miami Marlins
The Miami Marlins are a Major League Baseball franchise located in Miami, Florida, and are members of the National League East division. The franchise was established as an expansion franchise in 1993 as the Florida Marlins, and played in what was called Pro Player Stadium and Dolphins Stadium, among other names.
The team has since moved to their own home stadium located in downtown Miami, named Marlins Park, at the start of the 2012 season. Although the franchise has never won a division title, the Marlins have made the playoffs twice in 1997 and 2003 as a Wild Card team, with each playoff appearance resulting in a World Series title.
