Toronto Blue Jays
The Toronto Blue Jays are the only Canadian franchise in Major League Baseball, location in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 1977, the Blue Jays are a member of the American League East division. Originally playing at Exhibition Stadium, the team moved to SkyDome, now known as Rogers Centre, when it opened in 1989.
The Blue Jays struggled in their early years, but finally won a division title in 1985, starting a run of five division titles in nine years which included two American League pennants and World Series championships in 1992 and 1993. The franchise then went through a 21-year playoff drought that ended with an American League East vision title in 2015.
