Venue History
Miller Park is the current home ballpark for Major League Baseball's Milwaukee Brewers. Located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Miller Park opened in 2000 after the Brewers moved from Milwaukee County Stadium. One of the most unique features to Miller Park is the stadium's retractable roof, which opens and closes in a fan shape from the first and third base sides of the field and meets in the middle.
Taking from Milwaukee County Stadium, the Brewers' mascot, Bernie Brewer, has a club house in the left field stands where he goes down a slide to celebrate each Brewers home run and victory. Miller Park also continues the tradition of the sausage race, where several meat product mascots compete in a foot race between innings.
