Venue History
Oriole Park at Camden Yards, often referredto simply as Camden Yards, is a Major League Baseball stadium located in downtown Baltimore, Maryland, a few blocks west of the Inner Harbor in the Camden Yards Sports Complex.
It opened in 1992 as the home of the Baltimore Orioles, and is the first of the "retro" ballparks constructed during the 1990's and 2000's. It remains one of the most highly praised stadiums in the league. One of its more notable features is the B&O Warehouse beyond right field, which has only been hit once, by Ken Griffey, Jr. during the 1993 Home Run Derby.
